This mug was hand-thrown on the wheel with an abundance of love and joy while listening to great music. I used a brand new clay that I fell in love with instantly…red clay. I enjoyed the feel of the grog and the feels that I caught while using it. Before firing it the first time, I hand-carved and hand-painted the flower on to the mug…this took hooooours. I fired it in the kiln. Loved it. Then added a satin matte black to the inside and fired it for the final time. I love this mug.
